Grief, it is a harrowing journey, a journey that changes people. But through it, we strengthen. Grief; we must not let it define who we are, but we must let it prepare us for who we will be" -Catherine Capra-Leaf.
Hello everyone and welcome to the "Profound Blessings" website! This book began as a series of journals that I began writing during the time my husband, Michael was dying and it became an important healing and cathartic tool to process through my grief and the enormous changes that were taking place in my life.. The events that unfolded through my own personal journey of grief and sadness taught me to reach deep into my heart, and find my inner strength and courage to reinvent myself. Incredible stories unfolded in my life that changed me and it became a calling to share it with others so they could find their own bravery and courage to face their own adversities and difficult life situations. This website is intended as a tool to help others by providing links to supportive websites, and get support. I have a blog to communicate with readers, and also will provide a chat room for those to communicate with others who may be going through similar situations. Thank you for visiting today and it is my deepest hope that you find your help and encouragement through this site, and find your own profound blessings everyday.
"I was beginning to find peace with myself again. I finally felt the ability to embrace the shift in direction, and see the broken shards of glass of my life for what they really were; beautiful prisms of light.
I walked away from the icy cold cemetery on a beautiful warm spring morning, with an amazing magical kaleidoscope. I keep it near to my heart to remind me of the importance of the things in my life that have broken me, and through it, the metamorphosis that was now taking place. "It seems to me, the only way for the beautiful prisms to be born...is if we break the glass"..... from "Profound Blessings." by
